    Tour of Europe: A Taste of France

    Event Description

    Visit the storied places of food and wine lore with "A Tour of Europe", four special pairing events in the Boat Club. We begin our adventure with "A Taste of France".

    A Taste of France celebrates the harvest of field and vineyard, with country-style French cuisine, utilizing local and regional abundance of fields, forest, lakes and streams, paired with the best examples of French wines. Refined, elegant, expressive.

    FIRST COURSE | Provencal Stuffed Squid Swiss Chard, Garlic Bread Crumbs, Arugula, Roasted Tomato & Anchovy Vinaigrette, Charred Lemon paired with 2019 Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Les Baronnes

    SECOND COURSE | Lyonnaise Salad Frisee Lettuce, House Crouton, Candied Bacon, Shaved Asiago & Hollandaise Vinaigrette paired with 2019 Lamblin et Fils Chablis

    THIRD COURSE | Crispy Duck Confit Duck Jus, Brown Butter-Carrot Purée, French Lentils, Haricot Verts paired with 2018 Maison Arnoux & Fils Gigondas Vieux Clocher Nobles Terrasses

    FOURTH COURSE | Pear & Rosemary Tart Sweet Brie Cream, Chocolate-Wine Sauce paired with Taittinger Brut La Francaise Champagne
