Welcome to the fifth annual Pink Me Up! color celebration in the Flathead Valley. This 1k/5k walk or run is a non-timed event hosted by Kalispell Regional Healthcare, and it’s all about having fun with your friends and family. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness (and funds) about all cancers to better support our friends and neighbors. Proceeds benefit Cancer Support Community. Oct 4    Hop Queen 'Qualifier'

Pumpkin Patch Kids Carnival Children's House Montessori School of Whitefish will hold its annual Pumpkin Patch Kids Carnival on Saturday, October 7th. Find us at Depot Park, sharing the park with Oktoberfest, from 11am until 3pm. Pumpkin Patch continues to provide an opportunity for families to celebrate the beauty and tradition of autumn in Whitefish by enjoying a Saturday downtown pressing cider, sampling soups made by local restaurants, and spending quality family time together. Children’s activities include games, face painting, a bouncy house and much more! Pumpkins, baked goods, a variety of delicious soups, warm bread, hot dogs, and freshly pressed cider will be available for purchase. Gently used Halloween costumes will also be for sale. Oct 15    Whitefish Fire Department Open House
The Whitefish Fire Department will be holding an open house at the conclusion of Fire Prevention Week on Sunday, October 15, 2017. The event will take place at the Emergency Services Building located at 275 Flathead Drive, Whitefish, Montana. Doors will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can meet the Whitefish Fire Department firefighters and paramedics. They can see the engines, ambulances and other equipment up close. In addition, other emergency services will be represented including Whitefish Police Department, Flathead Search and Rescue, Two Bear Air Rescue, Smokey the Bear, North Valley Hospital and many others. There will be face painting and hot dogs. Activities for adults and children of all ages. Come out and learn how to stay safe!
