Apr 27 - May 6    A Fox on the Fairway by Ken Ludwig
A tribute from Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, A Fox On the Fairway takes audiences on a hilarious romp, which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers' classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with...golf. Tickets available at: the Kalispell Grand Hotel, the Pocketstone Cafe, & Bigfork Drug... or at the door. Or call 406-518-1170 CAUTION: MATURE CONTENT. Not recommended for children under 12.

May 16    Flathead Poetry Slam
The Flathead Spoken Word Community invites you to a monthly Poetry Slam, preceded by an Open Mic Night. The open mic is open to anyone who would like to read a piece they wrote or by an author they admire. The slam is the competitive portion of the night. Slam poets bring 3 poems they wrote themselves, each 3 minutes or less. Judges rate their poems and audience members are well engaged. There is a prize for first place! This is a safe space for folks to share their work. There is no filter on poems (and therefore may not appropriate for young children), however we ask you express yourself authentically in your poetry and with respect and kindness throughout the evening. We look forward to continuing to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive and connected community with you. Email fhpoetryslam@gmail.com to sign up to compete! (or show up around 7:15pm)
