On Saturday, June 8th the focus shifts from fine wine and food to burgers, BBQ and beer, as the Pine Lodge hosts this year’s Burger Battle at their beautiful riverside lodge on Spokane Avenue. Local restaurants and bars will try to “wow” the crowd – and the judges – with their take on the “ultimate” burger. Great Northern Brewing Co. will help keep you hydrated as you sample burgers (& more) from Piggyback BBQ, Casey’s, Loula's, Logan’s Grill, and, new comer, VFW. All of that PLUS some great live music from Barrel Stove Combo Jazz. Oh, and that spectacular Whitefish River View!

About the Musicians: "Rad" Lorkovic Drawing from a multitude of influences ranging from elegant classical and jazz styles to the rawest, most basic blues, country and soul, Radoslav Lorkovic has taken on an unusually broad musical spectrum and refined it into his distinctive piano style. | We are proud to introduce, Summer ArtFest at Whitefish, June 28th - June 30th, 2019! The weekend will be bustling with activity - artist demonstrations, live auction, open downtown galleries, food and drink, panel discussions, live music, a silent auction as well as artist-held classes. Encompassing the entire town, this is the inaugural event to transform Whitefish into the next fine art destination of the West. Perfectly poised already, the downtown area houses fifteen galleries, numerous artists reside within the city limits, and not to mention the drastic influx of visitors this area sees! We are looking forward to working with the community in order to engage everyone and reel in all corners of the art world to one picturesque location. Whether its just you, your gaggle of friends or the whole family, the weekend will be filled with live demonstrations from artists, engaging discussions, cocktail hours, and animated auctions. | Jun 28 Painting for a Purpose: Fundraiser Event for Shelby Powell |
| Please join us at Stumptown Art Studio on Friday, June 28th from 7-9pm for a special community fundraiser event "Painting for a Purpose" for our coworker Shelby Powell. Over the Memorial weekend Shelby had a bad fall severely injuring her neck and spinal cord. After emergency surgery she was flown to Denver, Colorado to the Craig Hospital where she will stay for several months receiving immersive rehabilitation. Stumptown will host a family night out with all proceeds going to the Powell family to help with the financial burden. Silent art auctions, raffle baskets, face painting, crafts and pottery painting. |

Directions from downtown Whitefish: Take US-93 North or South to downtown Whitefish. Turn north onto Baker Avenue and continue over the viaduct. Baker Avenue turns into Wisconsin Avenue. Wisconsin Avenue turns into East Lakeshore Drive. Turn right onto Big Mountain Road (look for the flashing yellow caution light over the road at the intersection).
Follow Big Mountain Road approximately 5 miles. Follow Big Mountain Road to the Upper Village (continue driving past Glades drive and under the skier bridge. Continue past Kandahar Lodge). Parking is available in Birch and Cedar (follow signs).
Please use Birch parking for handicap and/or drop offs (traffic will be dense in Birch)
Cedar Parking: Take a short hike up the stairs on the far end of Cedar to get to Birch/Sign-In Sign-In Sign-In is next to the Ticket Plaza located on the far end of the Birch Parking lot.
