* The festivities start at 6 p.m. with food vendors and treats.
* The Free Shuttle / Snow Bus is running from to and from City Beach and The O'Shaughnessy Center (Central north of Railway) starting at 7:00pm - until 11:30pm
* Live music with David Walburn starts at 7 p.m.
*Whitefish Marine and Flyboard of Montana will be doing a flyboard/wakeboard show just offshore at 8 p.m.
* Boat Parade starts about 9 p.m.
* Whitefish Chamber of Commerce presents the annual July 4th Fireworks display from Whitefish Lake. Event takes place shortly after dusk.

| Do you love the color blue? Do you crave the serenity of indigo? Then join us for a fabulous hands on workshop using natural indigo dye to create one-of-a-kind pattern. You will learn the basics of indigo dyeing and pattern-making using Shibori, the ancient Japanese method of producing pattern. We will use a variety of tools to tie, clamp, bind, and twist fabric to create beautiful textiles. We will enjoy three hours of color play while creating new from the old. Indigo dye pots will be ready for you to get started…Together we will explore developing unique patterns on cotton, silk, linen, or wool fabric. We will supply the dye pots, workspace outdoors, a drying area, and all the materials needed to fold, crimp, tie, clamp, and more! You will be given natural fabric squares to use for dyeing. with some forethought you may create some patterned napkins, prayer flags, a pillowcase, and more. In addition Here's an opportunity to bring in white or neutral colored clothing that may be stained and is as a result no longer worn. Rather than sending these items to the landfill, we have an opportunity to dye them with indigo, so they are back in action and more colorful than before! Participants may bring 1- 3 items of clothing to dye with natural indigo. All fabrics should be 100% cotton, linen, or silk. ? |

Great Fish Community Challenge kick-off
set for July 25 at First Interstate Bank
The 2019 Great Fish Community Challenge gets under way next Thursday with a celebratory Launch Party at First Interstate Bank of Whitefish, kicking-off a nine week campaign to raise funds for more than 50 different local non-profit organizations.
In the four years since its inception, the Challenge has raised more than $7 million for 55 local charities, and has supported a wide variety of community causes. Join the Foundation and representatives of this year's participating non-profits from 5-7 p.m. on July 25 for drinks, hors d'oeuvres and incentive grants ... more than $2,000 in grants will be awarded that night!

Registration Form: https://www.columbiafallschamber.org/3-3-basketball-tournament/ RULES: True Double Elimination Games will be played to 15 points or 15 minutes, whichever comes first. Coin toss determines first ball possession. Coin toss will also determine first ball possession if a game goes into overtime. Ball must be taken back out as far as the top of the extended key on any change of possession before a basket can be made. Teams must be ready to play at designated times. If a team fails to be on the court within 2 minutes of the game being announced the game may be forfeited. Player substitutes may be made on change of possession or free throws. All teams must play man to man defense. If 4 players are on the roster, all 4 players must participate. In case of injury, a team may continue with 3 but may not substitute other players. Free throws will be awarded on shooting fouls and intentional fouls only. If within the 3 point arc, 1 free throw is awarded. If outside of the 3 point arc, 2 free throws awarded. Free throws count as 1 point All baskets inside of the 3 point arc count as 1 point. Baskets made beyond the 3 point arc count as 2. Stalling tactics are not allowed. First offense = warning Second offense = ball is awarded to opposing team If an errant ball comes onto the court, play immediately stops. Team will possession will re-start ball at the top of the key. All teams check in: 7:30am First Game Starts at 8:00am ATTENTION: Please note that all game times are subject to change. Each game is to 15 points or 15 minutes, whichever comes first. This makes it very difficult to give you an exact time of any game other than the opening rounds. Typically, games run around 10 minutes, so please take that into consideration as you are coming and going.
