| Sep 26 - Oct 5 FVCC Theatre Presents "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" |
| FVCC Theatre will open the 2019-2020 season with the modern classic by Tennessee Williams, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” Supposedly Williams’ favorite play, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955 and the Tony Award in 1956, 1975, 1990 and 2004. FVCC’s production will run September 26, 27, 28 and October 3, 4, and 5 with 7 p.m. performances. “’Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ embraces so much of the human experience, both good and bad: social mores, greed, superficiality, mendacity, decay, sexual desire, repression and death,” FVCC Speech and Theatre Arts Professor Joe Legate said. “But the underlying themes of truth and love keep this play universal. These two powerful forces keep the play unswervingly headed toward an exceptionally satisfying conclusion.” Due to strong language and adult themes, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” is recommended for mature audiences. A MX style dirt track built to accommodate UTV's and ATV's: We'll be working hard this next couple of weeks to build up the track, and will update as we can.
Register early and receive billing for yourself, and your sponsors, on our Posters! (What sponsor Wouldn't love that?!)
Registration begins at 10 am and ends promptly at 12 pm.
Registration Fees for 18+ $50.00 per driver, per class; 13 - 17 yrs $20; and kids 12 and under are Free.
Spectators: Kids 12 and under: Free, as always. Everyone else $10.
Pit Passes $20.00 (must be 18+)
Food Vendors and Beer Garden on-site. Please refrain from bringing coolers and outside alcohol.

Camping will not be available on site, however you can camp in the Stillwater Forest, which we are surrounded by. We encourage everyone to make sure they have their Recreational Use Permit (resident and non-resident alike) when enjoying your Montana State Forests. |

| Oct 31 Kid’s Halloween Costume Contest |
| Halloween Photo Contest! Sponsored by: Imagination Station Toys. Your neighborhood toy store! Let’s kick it up a notch with Imagination Station Toys’ Halloween Photo Contest! On October 31st, head over to Imagination Station in Whitefish between 3:30pm and 4:30pm to participate. We’ll take photos of your kids in their adorable costumes and post them to the Whitefish Pilot Facebook page. The 10 photos with the most reactions from our audience will be entered to win a $25 gift card to Imagination Station Toys. The top 10 photos along with the winner will also be featured in the Whitefish Pilot on November 13th. We’ll see you there! |

| "The FVCC Phi Theta Kappa chapter presents Trunk or Treat, a safe, fun, free, one-stop trick-or-treating event for families. Come in your best costume to check out our decked out vehicle trunks full of treats for the little boos and ghouls! FVCC students, employees and Flathead Valley residents are invited to participate. Seeking anyone interested in providing a decorated automobile trunk for the college’s annual Trunk or Treat. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best trunk decorations, including a $100 Visa gift card for the best-decorated trunk. Candy will be provided. The event will take place in the college’s west parking lot off Montana Highway 93. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes. This event and is free and open to the public." |
