A 6 week program for expecting mothers designed to inform and educate on what to expect during pregnancy and how to best prepare for birth physically and emotionally. We believe the more you know the more confident and prepared you will feel to make the best decisions for you and your growing family. Our hope is to shed light on the changes your are experiencing through pregnancy and share tools regarding nutrition, fitness, mindset and connection that will help to prepare your mind and body for the birthing process.
The series consists of SIX - 2 hour classes occuring 1x/wk on Saturday afternoon from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Hellroaring Crossfit in Columbia Falls.
Each class will be hosted by a different local professional who will teach and engage in discussion/questions regarding their field of expertise followed by a session of intentional breath and movement.
This course is designed to provide women going through the mortherhood transition with a guide to supporting optimal health as they experience pregnancy and give them the tools to implement change and embrace confidence to have the tough conversations with not only yourself but also your family and healthcare team.

| Montana Wilderness Association is hosting the 15th annual Backcountry Film Festival on Tuesday, February 4 at 6 pm at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish. Doors open at 6 pm, films start at 7 pm. The festival will feature numerous short films that tell compelling and entertaining stories about backcountry, human-powered recreation and environmental preservation. Proceeds benefit Montana Wilderness Association Flathead-Kootenai Chapter, and support their scholarship program along with other local Montana Wilderness Association initiatives. The City of Whitefish and Whitefish Winter Carnival are excited to announce the Snow Sculpture Showdown planned for the weekend of Winter Carnival, February 7-8, 2020.
Starting Friday February 7th, teams will work to create their sculptures, completing them by noon on Saturday. The Winter Carnival Royalty will judge the creations prior to the parade and award prizes. The public is encouraged to visit the park to view the sculptures all weekend.

Our Member Services Committee has been working hard to improve and expand the menu of services the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce offer to our members, and to make our dues structure both simpler and fairer. Over the course of the next year, the Chamber will transition from our current dues structure – which is based on the number of workers a business employs – to a “tiered” system based on the benefits that our business members want, need and expect from the Chamber.
We will be hosting a membership introduction meeting every Thursday in February and March from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at National Parks Realty. We will be discussing our new benefit-based tier system, to help you better understand (and use) the benefits which Chamber membership offers, and to select the tier that’s right for you.
