| Each year, the North Valley Music School hosts the Montana Music Event, an important fundraiser to raise vital revenue for music programs and our scholarship fund. Please join us for our Fifth Annual Event! Sunday, August 1, 2021 Stillwater Landing Whitefish MT VIP Social 5-6 pm, $75 Gates Open 4:30 pm Tickets include 3-courses (appetizer, main, and dessert) made fresh onsite, plus beer and wine, the opportunity to mix and mingle with the musicians before the show, a thank you gift, and the delightful sound of live classical music being performed wafting through the air. | There is a 1 mile, 1/2 mile, and new this year, a 5K (3.1 miles) swim option. The races will take place on a loop course starting and finishing at Whitefish City Beach. We are diligently following the guidelines of local and state officials as we break free from COVID-19 and will update racers on any current precautions and requirements we will be following on race day. Currently we plan on using chip timing so we can stagger race starts and provide distancing of swimmers; sanitizer stations will be placed for your convenience; food will come prepackaged to limit the sharing of germs. |

| Aug 14 2021 Flathead Waters Cleanup |
| The Flathead Basin Commission and the Flathead Conservation District are sponsoring a cleanup event of all waters in Flathead County. The 2021 Flathead Waters Cleanup Event is a volunteer event to clean up trash in and around our waterbodies of Flathead County. Individuals or teams of volunteers will sign up to collect trash and clean up any river, lake, creek, or pond. When they register, volunteers can select their favorite area to clean up through an interactive mapping feature on the event website. The event will take place on Saturday, August 14th from 9AM – 3PM, with a celebratory shindig and prize giveaway hosted at Sacred Waters Brewing from 4PM – 7PM. Prizes from our sponsors--including a half-day guided flyfishing trip, an evening sailing cruise, jet ski rentals, and outdoor gear--will be given to the volunteers that collect the most trash, find the most unique item, or submit the best photo.
