DESCRIPTION:The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce hosts The Department of Transportation for an informative look at the Downtown Whitefish Highway Plan \n\n            \n\n     Tickets for the April 22nd Business Breakfast with the Department of Transportation are $15 apiece\, and available now.  RSVPs are a must\, so register now to reserve your spot!\n\nApril 22   Downtown Whitefish Corridor Study\n\n \n\nJoin the Whitefish Chamber for our first "Business Breakfast" of the year on Wednesday\, April 22 at the Moose Lodge\, when representatives of the Montana Department of Transportation will bring us up-to-speed on efforts address the ever-increasing traffic congestion issues on Highway 93 in downtown Whitefish.\n\n \n\nThe growth of our local economy   and the popularity of Whitefish as a summertime resort destination   has led to monumental traffic congestion on U.S. Highway 93 as it passes through downtown Whitefish.  An MDT consultant and advisory committee are currently conducting the Downtown Whitefish Traffic Study\, and working to develop a plan for needed traffic improvements on Spokane Avenue\, Second Street\, Baker Avenue and 13th Street.\n\n \n\nRegistration and buffet breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m.\; a full presentation on the Downtown Whitefish Traffic Study will begin promptly at 8 a.m.\, followed by Q&A from our members.
