DESCRIPTION:Would you like to help create the next generation of tech savvy\, confident\, business oriented women who will impact Montana's future? \n\n \n\n\nWe invite you to join us for an informative luncheon to learn more about how you can have a direct impact on Code Girls United at a time when we are experiencing explosive growth. \n\n \n\n\nStarting as a small\, local group\, to help young girls to learn computer coding\, Code Girls United is now offering after school programs for 4th-8th grade girls across Montana.  Our mission is to expand the future career opportunities of 4th-8th grade girls through hands-on experiences in coding\, technology and business. We are now past the phase of "getting started" and building a solid foundation.  We are ready to reach out\, grow\, and meet the needs of more and more girls in Montana.\n\n \n\nOur programs are free and each student learns the basics of creating and designing an app that solves a community problem.  They learn the basics of computer science and practical business skills throughout the course.  The girls compete in three different competitions  including Code Girls United's own NW Regional App Challenge (scholarship prizes)\, the International Technovation Challenge\, and the nationwide Congressional App Challenge.\n\n \n\nHelp frame the future of this organization\, and help us to grow to serve regionally as well as in our community and state. \n\n \n\nPlease join Code Girls United for our Board Outreach Luncheon on October 14th\, 12:00pm - 1:00pm\, at the Kalispell Chamber Meeting Room. \n\n \n\nPlease confirm your attendance to Marianne Smith\, m.smith@codegirlsunited.org
