\n3905 Big Mountain Road Whitefish\, MT 59937\n\nHelp us say &lsquo\;toot aloo&rsquo\; to 2023 with a fiery Torchlight Parade and Fireworks to bring in the New Year. This event includes a torchlight parade (open to the public for spectators or participants) followed by fireworks under the big sky.
\n\nThe Torchlight Parade and Fireworks will begin at 5:30pm\, just outside of Ed and Mully&rsquo\;s Restaurant (3905 Big Mountain Road) in the \;Upper Village. The fireworks display will begin at the end of the Torchlight Parade.
\n\nSpectators are encouraged to assemble at the bottom of \;Ed&rsquo\;s Run\, near Ed &\; Mully&rsquo\;s.
\n\nNight Skiing on Chair 2 will close from 5:00pm - 6:30pm for the Torchlight and Fireworks. Chairs 3 and 6 will remain open.

\n\n5:00pm - 6:30pm - Chair 2 Night Ski Closure for Torchlight Parade and Fireworks.
\n\n5:10pm - Torchlight Volunteers load \;Chair 2 \;(must be pre-registered)
\n\n5:30pm - Torchlight &\; Fireworks
\n\n6:30pm - Night Skiing Reopens
\n\nChair 3 and 6 remain operating during the Chair 2 closure.

\n\nIf you would like to participate in the Torchlight Parade\, please follow these instructions:
\n\nTo Register :
\n\nYou must register here by 4:30pm on the day of the torchlight\, be an intermediate or expert skier or snowboarder\, and must be at least 8 years old. If you are under the age of 12\, we ask that a parent/guardian sign up with them and accompany them.
\n\nTo Participate :
\n\n-A lift ticket or season pass is required.
\n\n-Arrive at the bottom of Chair 2 no later than 5:00pm.
\n\n-Meet our amazing Ski and Ride School staff who lead the torchlight\, load the chair\, get your torches\, and ski down Ed&rsquo\;s Run.
\n\n-Low-visibility goggles\, helmet\, and outerwear you don&rsquo\;t mind getting dirty on are highly recommended.

\n\nWhat do I do after I register?
\n\nPlease double check your entry\, make sure it is right. You will be emailed a confirmation/receipt.
\n\nWhat are my responsibilities as a participant?
\n\nEvents are a group effort. It requires timeliness and accountability of not only the event staff\, but of each competitor. There are many details each person is responsible for in order for us all to have a fun day on the snow. Making sure your information is accurate\, you are on time and prepared for each event is required.

\n\nTRANSPORTATION\, PARKING AND SHUTTLES
\n\nWhat are my transport options getting to the event and around the village?
\n\nThe SNOW Bus will also operate between Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort. A shuttle will operate in the upper village areas\, and all parking lots will be open through the event. Please obey all parking signage and park as per normal.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAre helmets required?
\n\nHelmets are required to participate in any event.
\n\nTICKET INFORMATION
\n\nAre there Discounted Lift Tickets for Event Competitors?
\n\nYes\, for any event that requires use of the chairlift and is not a free entry event such as Cruise the Blues or a Torchlight Parade. $49 discounted Event Lift Tickets are available at the ticket shack located next to the bottom of Chair 2 in the Lift Plaza. Competitors must present their Bib to be eligible for this discounted ticket.
\n\nCan I transfer my entry to my friend if I can&rsquo\;t make it to the event?
\n\nNo. New registrations must be completed by the competitor / guardian.
\n\nDo I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
\n\nIt is not required to print your ticket\, but it can be helpful. If you intend on purchasing a discounted lift ticket\, it is required.
