DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the beauty of the sky\, and join us for our first ever star gazing party on the trail! Free hot cocoa and adult refreshments will be provided!\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFor the first hour\, local astronomer from Polebridge Jim Rittenburg will be leading us in a constellation tour of the sky. The second half of the event\, we will have the opportunity to look at various objects through telescopes\, including Saturn.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPlease bring your own chairs and blankets. You are also encouraged to bring binoculars if you have them. Please note that the road to the trailhead is rough in spots\, and an off-road vehicle is recommended.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis family-friendly event is free and suitable for all ages and abilities however attendance is limited and registration is required. Registration will open 2 weeks prior to the event on Eventbrite.
