SUMMARY:Stargazing on the Trail
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the beauty of the sky\, and join us for a star gazing party with The Big Sky Astronomy Club! Free hot cocoa and adult refreshments will be provided!\n\nFor the first hour\, local astronomer from Polebridge Jim Rittenburg will be leading us in a constellation tour of the sky. The second half of the event\, we will have the opportunity to look at various objects through telescopes\, including Jupiter.\n\nPlease bring your own chairs and blankets. Carpooling is advised! \n\n*NOTE: In case of rain or snow\, we will post on instagram/facebook about cancellation and will cancel the event via email to all registered individuals by 5pm the day of the event.\n\nIn the case that the sky is cloudy\, we will notify all registered individuals by 5pm the day of the event\, but we will still plan to have an hour astronomy Q&A session with Jim for anyone who is interested. \n\nThis program is free and family friendly!
