SUMMARY:Stumptown Quilters' Society Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Stumptown Quilters' Society (SQS) is to create\, stimulate\, and maintain an interest in the making\, collecting\, and the preservation of quilts.  Each year SQS members make quilts for the needs of the local community.      We also make donations to various local charities\, and/or participate in other community outreach projects\, as needed.\n\nSQS provides classes\, workshops\, and an annual Retreat (at a reasonable or no cost to members)\n\n    Membership is open to anyone interested in any form of quilting and/or anyone interested in learning the art of quilting. Beginners Welcome.\n\n    SQS meetings are held on the Second Saturday of the month at 10:am\, in the Whitefish Middle School Board Room. SQS is a non-profit community organization\, and member of the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce.\n\n    Membership dues are paid annually. Our monthy Newsletter is e-mailed or sent out prior to each meeting.\n\n    Regardless of your quilting level\, we invite you to join us each month for a brief business meeting\, snacks\, instruction\, demonstrations\, and a couple of hours devoted to the love of quilting. Bring your sewing machine\, & supplies\, for our monthly project and your quilt items for "Show & Tell"
