2017 Assistance for Business Clinic
The Assistance for Business Clinics are designed to assist new and established employers, accountants, bookkeepers, human resource professionals and lawyers to proactively prevent unnecessary claims and/or charges by providing updated reporting of state withholding, UI Tax requirements, workers’ comp. coverage, minimum wage, overtime, new hire reporting, income withholding orders, USERRA laws and regulations and to provide recruitment strategies and resources, and tax and hiring incentives. PRESENTATIONS INCLUDE: Department of Labor & Industry: Wage & Hour, Unemployment Insurance Tax, Unemployment Insurance Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, Safety & Health Bureau, Job Service Montana – Business Services Department of Revenue: Withholding Tax Employer Support of Guard & Reserve: USERRA CLINIC SCHEDULE: Registration: 7:30a.m. to 8:00a.m. Opening Remarks & Agency Presentations: 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.
