Boots on the Ground: Volunteer Orientation with Wild Montana
Are you interested in volunteer opportunities around Northwest Montana? Have you ever hiked past a trail crew working to maintain the hiking tread and wondered how to get involved? If so, this is the perfect opportunity to join Wild Montana’s Flathead Kootenai Chapter for an informational evening at Sunny’s Burgers to learn about volunteer opportunities. We will be sharing information about our trail ambassador program focused in the Jewel Basin, our trail work opportunities both locally and state-wide, and our wilderness walks program.
Whether you’re simply looking for some new hiking groups to jump into or if you’re wanting to get your hands dirty with some trail work and scouting, we’ve got something for everyone.
