Cardiovascular event screening
The CIMT is a specialized carotid ultrasound to look at the lining of the arteries in your neck to identify inflammation and plaque. The results can be forwarded to your primary care provider to help you further understand your risk of having a cardiovascular event (heart attack or stroke) in the next 10 years. Scans are intended for anyone with current increased risk, over 40yo or with a family history of early cardiovascular event.

Cost of the scan is $250. Insurance cannot be billed for this service
