Explore Grand Canyon National Park with Linda Smith at Whitefish Community Center
LET'S EXPLORE GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK!
Former award winning science teacher, Linda Smith, will guide us on an adventure through 1.5 billion years of Earth history. We will examine how sedimentary rock is deposited and how fossils can help us understand the distant past.
We will see how people explore the park today, hiking on foot, riding a mule or rafting the Colorado River. John Westley Powell will be joining us .... (only in spirit).
This will be a fun presentation and the scenery will be spectacular!
