Getting to Know Whitefish - Ranger Led Hike
The City of Whitefish is hosting ranger led walks on Wednesdays throughout the summer at Whitefish City Beach. On this date, learn about the Kootenai Tribe, who inhabited this area for the last 10,000 years. Visit Roundhouse Landing and Depot Park to learn about Whitefish’s early years as a railroad town. The return walk to the beach will focus on the history of skiing on “Big Mountain”. All ages are welcome and the event is free of charge.
