Great Northwest Oktoberfest - 2019

2019 Dates, Times & Location

Admission

Admission is just $5 per day.  Kids under 12 (accompanied by a parent) are free.
Thursday, Sept 26th is "Locals Night" - if you bring an ID that shows you are a Flathead Valley resident you get in FREE!
Saturday, October 5th is "Senior's Day" - Oktoberfest goers 60 yrs old and better get in FREE until 5 pm! 

So what do you get for your 5 bucks?  You get all-day access into the Oktoberfest Bigtop where you can purchase all kinds of German beer, food and souvenirs as well as access to our beer garden. Plus, you'll be entertained by great German music & you can chicken dance your lederhosen off!  You also get to watch some of the craziest contests around like log sawing, keg throwing, stein holding & waitress races.  

Contests & Activities

Oktoberfest is chalk full of fun contests & activities on both weekends!  

Contests:
There are tons of crazy contests to participate in or to just watch from the sidelines cheering your favorite contestant on to victory!  We'll have:

• Keg hurling

• Stein holding (Mens' & Womens')

• Log sawing (Mens' & Womens')

• Kid's Chicken Dance Contests [Sat. Sept. 28 & Oct 5 at 2:45pm]

The above contests have no entry fee, and participants can sign up 1/2 hour before each contest at the table to the right of the Oktoberfest stage. (No sign up necessary for the Chicken Dance Contest.)

Special Competitions:

2019 Hop Queen Competition and Crowning - October 2 & 3
Join us at the Firebrand Hotel on Wednesday Oct. 2 from 6-8 p.m. for the "Hop Queen Qualifier," meet the Hop Queen candidates and enjoy music by the Western Senators.  Then be under the bigtop at Smith Fields on Thursday Oct. 3rd, and see who gets crowned!  
 

General (but important!) Info

Leave Fido at home: Sorry, no pets allowed in the Oktoberfest Bigtop or Beer Garden.
Parking: Due to parking availability (& to save gas!) we recommend carpooling to Oktoberfest.  
ATM:  There will be an ATM machine available on the premises to Oktoberfest-goers.
