Paper Making
Get your feet wet in this introductory class and explore what handmade paper is all about. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and learn about the papermaking process from breaking down cotton and abaca linters to create paper pulp for sheet formation. Next steps include adding color to the paper pulp, as well as creating sheet paper samples to take home. In addition to developing paper pulp, inclusions, such as leaves and petals can be added to the mix.
