The General - Silent Movie with the Symphony
Billed as a light-hearted tribute to one of America’s most popular silent movies The General (circa 1926) is Buster Keaton classic comedy brought to life. Composer Rick Friend, who plays piano along with the symphony, has incorporated music from the music of Beethoven, Kabalevsky, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky and the American tradition into the score.
