Twice Painted Quilts Workshop and Retreat
Four days of instruction by the award-winning textile artist, Monique Kleinhans. Your retreat includes three nights accomodation at Laughing Horse Lodge in Swan Lake Montana, with meals provided by Chef Kate.
Students will create works based upon their own photo inspiration or explore plein-aire painting using th beautiful vistas of Swan Lake and the surrounding gardens. Attendees will become comfortable embelishing and adding texture using different methods of thread painting and free-motion stitches. Discover the magic of pairing water color on fabric and thread painting techniques to create unique and personal quilted art.

Location
Laughing Horse Lodge, located in beautiful Swan Lake, Montana, offers a peaceful space for your creative juices to flow. Comfortable guest rooms surround a delightful English-style garden where (weather permitting) art happens! Creative spaces also include a large, indoor space and comfortable library where meals are served.
Situated at the top of Swan Valley at 22360 MT Hwy 83, Swan Lake. Two hours from Missoula, 1.3 hrs from Whitefish.
Fees/Admission
$1095 includes lodging (single room occupancy) and breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners.
