Forest Bathing Class
Date: September 28, 2022
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Event Description
Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku and forest therapy, is a practice that invites you to slow down and experience the natural world through your senses without any other goal or focus. Research shows that forest bathing reduces stress & anxiety, improves sleep, enhances focus & creativity, boosts immune system function and increases feeling of happiness. Forest bathing is also about deepening your relationship with the natural world.
Montana Forest Bathing is happy to offer this class through Flathead Valley Community College (FVCC) in Kalispell. Class meets (outdoors) once a week for 3 weeks among the beautiful ponderosa pine groves on campus.
