The Statue of Liberty Presentation at the Whitefish Community Center.
Join others at the Whitefish Community Center on Thursday, September 11 at 1:00 pm to learn about the history of America's symbol of freedom, inspiration and hope, the Statue of Liberty. Former science teacher, Linda Smith, will bring her knowledge and expertise to guide you through the proposal of the idea by Frenchman Edouard Laboulaye in 1865 to the dedication of the statue in 1886. Come, meet new friends and enjoy this fascinating story of our national treasure.
The presentation is FREE and all are welcome.
