Serving the Whitefish community since 1947, Nelson's ACE Hardware is your downtown, hometown hardware store - the home of the helpful hardware folks. We are Whitefish's locally-owned, helpful hometown hardware store, serving our community since 1948! And we always have free popcorn! Founded in 1948 by Ruth and Wilfred Nelson, Nelson's Ace Hardware has been continuously operated by the Nelson Family for over 70 years. The business was originally located on Central Avenue in downtown Whitefish, and moved to a beautiful new building on Highway 93 South in March of 2019. In January 2020, the current owners Rick and Marilyn Nelson transferred ownership of the business to their daughter, third-generation owner, Mariah Joos. The continuity of family ownership has assured that our values have remained constant throughout the years. We are committed to serving our community and providing the best in customer service, in a friendly, helpful and well-stocked store. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our employees and customers by abiding by all recommended safety protocols during the coronavirus pandemic, and we offer phone and online ordering for curbside pickup to our customers who are unable to shop in person at this time.
