DREAM Adaptive Recreation benefit screening of PASANG: In the Shadow of Everest

DREAM Adaptive Recreation and the Follow Your Dream Foundation invite you to a special benefit screening of the award-winning documentary film, PASANG: In the Shadow of Everest, the epic story of Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, Nepal's first female Sherpa to summit Mt. Everest. Q&A with filmmakers and DREAM team immediately following the film.

PASANG is Director Nancy Svendsen's feature directorial debut and the fruition of a remarkable ten-year commitment to track down and bring Pasang's inspiring story to audiences worldwide. Pasang’s is a universally relevant story of one woman's resilience and the importance of claiming one’s rightful place at the table. Her journey demonstrates the remarkable power within each of us to create change.

Funds raised from the event will go toward supporting DREAM’s thoughtful program growth in 2025 and toward Follow Your Dream Foundation’s PASANG Amplify Fund, in partnership with the Pasang Lhamu Foundation in Kathmandu to develop a Women's Leadership Series.
