Glacier National Park is a geological marvel where opposing forces of nature have shaped the landscape over billions of years. This course will take place within the Two Medicine Valley, surrounded by glacially carved mountains and lakes with glimpses of the iconic Lewis overthrust fault. During our hike we will experience Glacier on the geological timescale, where discussions will focus on the sedimentation, uplifting, and carving that shaped this incredible landscape. The class is designed for those with an interest in the scientific story behind the majestic scenery in Glacier National Park.
