Join us at the Whitefish Community Center for a transformative time of guided meditation that emphasizes community building and personal connection. This gathering is designed not only to cultivate mindfulness through breath work but also to foster a supportive environment where we can share our stories. Each session includes moments of reflection, allowing participants to connect with themselves and one another, creating a rich tapestry of presence and understanding.
With over nine years of experience in the meditation community, Linda leopard will be guiding this group. Including time at the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and a year with Banyon, the mindful global community of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield Linda brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to this practice. She has also deeply engaged with the teachings of Pema Chodron, attending her talks at the Omega Institute and Mangala Shri Bhute.
These sessions incorporate poetry, readings, and inspiring quotes, enhancing the contemplative practice. Drawing from her background in Aikido where breath and centering are fundamental she will explore how to be present in our bodies while fostering a strong sense of community.
Whether you are new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, you are warmly welcomed to join us a we journey together toward greater awareness and connection.
