Step into the breathtaking world of Our Planet in this special presentation featuring highlights from the acclaimed Netflix documentary, with expert insights, and behind-the-scenes footage from natural history Executive Producer, Huw Cordey.
At The Making of Our Planet, Huw will take us behind the scenes of the Frozen Worlds episode, revealing the challenges of filming in some of the planet’s most extreme environments while following walrus and polar bears in their icy habitats. With a wealth of experience capturing wildlife across diverse climates, he’ll also share fascinating stories from warmer regions and explore how climate change is reshaping ecosystems and the lives of the creatures that call Earth’s landscapes home.
Huw’s career has taken him across the globe, from the Andes to the Amazon, filming everything from big cats in Africa to the orangutans of Borneo. He began at Partridge Films and quickly established himself in the world of natural history storytelling, producing BBC Natural World films before joining the BBC Natural History Unit where he contributed to acclaimed series like BBC Natural World, Wildlife on One and Planet Earth. Now at Silverback Films, he has led major productions including The Hunt and Netflix’s Our Planet. As Series Producer, he continues to create groundbreaking wildlife documentaries for global audiences.
