The Glacier Institute is hosting their first annual Lumberjack Ball at Aliboo Farm in West Glacier, MT. Not your typical ball, flannels shirts are the preferred attire. Feel free to leave your suit and tie at home! The evening will include crosscut saw demonstrations, hatchet throwing, award winning chili, complimentary libations, live and silent auctions, raffle prizes, laid back music, and good company. You won’t want to miss this unique event themed after the timber industry, which jump started the towns of Whitefish, Somers, Kalispell, and Columbia Falls.
As the official education partner for both Glacier National Park and Flathead National Forest, not only do we utilize a retired ranger station for our youth campus, but we teach a lot about forest health and sustainable forestry practices. Get excited to enjoy a relaxing evening at a beautiful venue, supporting an organization with a mission to strengthen connections to the natural world through outdoor education. And don’t worry, the price of admission comes with a branded flannel shirt to commemorate the evening!
