About the Job
Full-time staff work 4-5 days a week. This position requires weekend availability, with daily working hours being 8-4:30. Experience in a restaurant and/or barista is preferred but not required. Base hourly pay is $12-14/hr depending on experience, plus tips. Tips are pooled and split evenly and average $8-$10/hr.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks using various brewing methods and equipment, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup.
- Create delectable crepes and other food items following established recipes and food safety standards.
- Operate Toast POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
