Locally owned since 1976, Glacier Guides & Montana Raft offers unforgettable rafting, hiking, biking, fishing, and wilderness adventures in and around Glacier National Park. Based in West Glacier, just a short drive from Whitefish, we're proud to be Glacier National Park's exclusive authorized guided hiking service since 1983.

Day Adventures: Experience exciting whitewater rafting, scenic floats along Glacier's boundary, guided hikes, fly fishing, and biking tours. Rent a bike and ride directly from our office into Glacier National Park, or join a guided spring ride on the Going-to-the-Sun Road before it opens to cars. Join a scheduled trip or let us customize a private adventure for your family, friends, or group. From relaxing floats to thrilling whitewater, there's something for everyone!

Overnight & Multi-Day Adventures: Explore Glacier's spectacular backcountry on a three- to six-day guided backpacking trip, enjoy an overnight rafting adventure, or hike to historic Granite Park Chalet. We also offer multi-day fishing trips. Stay at our cozy Glacier Guides Lodge or one of our guest houses near the park's west entrance.
