About Us

Sunshine River Farms is a regenerative farm that nurtures the land, celebrates biodiversity, and is rooted in community. We offer nutrient-dense vegetables, fruit, and eggs seasonally through our CSA program, Whitefish Farmers Market, and select local restaurants and stores. At the farm, we also offer mindfulness, equine educational experiences, and holistic coaching.

Sunshine River Farms was founded in 2021 by Eric and Silvi after falling in love with the beauty and community of Whitefish, Montana. What began as a family dream grew into a shared mission—to live in harmony with nature and cultivate nourishment for both people and the planet.

Eric’s passion for growing food began in Southern California, where tending a family garden sparked his lifelong commitment to sustainable farming. At Sunshine River Farms, he practices regenerative agriculture that restores the land and supports community well-being. He also works with local food charities to make fresh, healthy produce accessible throughout the Flathead Valley.

Silvi complements the farm’s mission through her background in mindfulness and holistic healing. A longtime meditation teacher and counselor, she weaves wellness, reflection, and connection into farm life. She also teaches at FVCC and offers mindfulness coaching and equine-assisted learning on the farm.

Together, Eric and Silvi are cultivating more than food—they’re growing community, resilience, and a mindful way of living close to the land.
