About Us

Your local makerspace! We offer members access to professional level tools, equipment and studio space in addition to providing creative workshops, classes and events.

What is a makerspace? A place where people can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge.

Why a makerspace? The Making Place first began as a grassroots project in October of 2023 with a public interest survey gauging demand for a community makerspace. The results indicated a desire for three main services: workshops & classes, a tool library, and a community workspace. We are a volunteer founded business committed to fulfilling the wants and needs of our community. We hope to empower a community driven art scene & enable the local making culture to flourish.

Simply put- we make it easier to make things.
