Le Grizz Ultramarathon Weekend 2024

Join us for the historic Le Grizz Ultramarathon, one of Montana’s oldest and most celebrated races! The 2024 event features a 50-mile ultramarathon, along with 5k, 10k, and relay options, all set in the breathtaking North Fork. Runners and community members are invited to partake in a weekend of adventure, including a pre-race spaghetti feed and post-race picnic and awards ceremony. Proceeds from the event support educational programs at the Glacier Institute.

5:30 am – 9:30 am Packet pickup (drop bag check-in offered ‘til 7 am)
6 am – Early Start
7 am – 50 Mile Start
7:30 am – 50 Mile Relay Start
9:30 am – 5k and 10k Start
11:30 am – Kid’s Fun Run
Noon til’ 8 pm – Post-Race Fried Chicken Pic-Nic! Runners receive a free world-famous huckleberry bear claw courtesy of the Polebridge Mercantile at the finish line, in addition to fried chicken and a beer. Cheers!
12 pm – 5k and 10k Awards Ceremony
5 pm – 50 Mile Relay Awards Ceremony
5:15 pm – 50 Mile Awards Ceremony
7 pm – Final aid station (@Demer’s Ridge) closes – runners are welcome to continue past the aid station closure, so long as they have mandatory crew support!
