The Whitefish Bike Retreat is a unique destination and is the only TrailSide Lodge and Campground on the Whitefish Trail.

he Whitefish Bike Retreat is a unique destination where a touring cyclist can find support and rest, a mountain biker can find challenging new terrain to explore, and a family can vacation with scenic trails in and around the Whitefish area. You can escape the stresses of life and do what you came to do – RIDE! You can come with your friends and find something for everyone and end your day together around a campfire. You can come with your family to ride and enjoy the many other activities the area has to offer. You can come alone and find a new riding partner. You don’t even have to ride, you can just enjoy northwestern Montana endless hiking, paddling and other outdoor activities. We are the Dean Family – Ron & Catherine (dad & mom) along with James & Nicole (son & wife to be) Connor (son) and Courtney (daughter). We are happy to say that we are the new owners of the Whitefish Bike Retreat! Ron & I visited Whitefish in 2018 for a medical conference and fell in love with all that this area had to offer for an active lifestyle. We discovered the WBR was for sale in 2020 and decided that it was just too good of an opportunity to pass up! We took a leap of faith to make this our new family home in April of 2021and have been loving it ever since! Cricket stayed on for the 2021 summer season and taught us everything needed to continue running the WBR as it has since first opening in 2013. We are looking forward to seeing the WBR continue to grow with the same character and quality that it has become known for and getting to meet and help all the wonderful guests that have also come to love the WBR!
